Department for Work & Pensions (DWP): Don't miss out on your State Pension entitlement

The 5th April 2025 deadline for paying voluntary National Insurance contributions to fill any gaps in your record between 2006 and 2018 is approaching. To support anyone wishing to check their records, or make a payment, there is now a DWP video and an online form to request a callback.

2024DIN01-004 on NI Credits for spouses provides details on the impact to spouses and civil partners serving overseas who are unable to work and pay National Insurance Contributions. It describes the process to apply for National Insurance Credits.

If you have served overseas for a considerable amount of time, the deadline for claiming these credits is 5th April 2025! You can currently buy missing years back to 2006, but from 6th April 2025 you can only do it to 2019.
